Risk Management Grants

  • Security Camera Risk Management Grant — Helps fund installation of security cameras at member facilities to deter crime and support investigations. Applications accepted through Oct. 31, 2025.

  • Security Enhancement Grant — Supports target-hardening upgrades such as lighting, access control and other CPTED improvements. Applications accepted through Oct. 31, 2025.

  • Wildfire Mitigation Grant — Funds projects that reduce wildfire-related exposures for employees and the public, such as defensible space and air-quality controls. Applications accepted through Sept. 30, 2025.

  • Sewer Video Camera & Sewer Line Cleaning — Helps pay for sewer line video inspections and cleaning to spot defects, prevent backups and reduce claims. Applications not yet open.

  • Cybersecurity Risk Management Grant — Provides matching funds for employee cyber training and phishing simulations to reduce cyber risk. Applications not yet open.

Public Safety Grants

  • Corrections — Supports initiatives in corrections operations and administration, including training, equipment, or facility upgrades that enhance safety and reduce risk. Applications accepted through Sept. 15, 2025.
  • Body-Worn Camera Systems — Reimburses up to $10,000 for the purchase of body-worn cameras; does not include supporting hardware or software. Applications accepted through Sept. 15, 2025.
  • Property and Evidence — Supports proper and safe handling and storage of property and evidence, including secure storage, evidence-tracking systems, facility upgrades, and related tools. Applications accepted through Sept. 15, 2025.
  • Law Enforcement (Patrol/Law Enforcement Administration) — Supports patrol and administrative needs, including officer safety equipment, training, or operational improvements. Applications accepted year-round.
  • Policy and Administrative Support — Reimburses eligible policy and administrative solutions, including Lexipol, NWAA (formerly OAA), P1, or comparable platforms. Applications accepted year-round.
  • Critical Incident Grant — Available only to members of the CIS Servicing Group; supports agencies after a qualifying critical incident, including mental-health support, temporary staffing, equipment replacement, and other approved recovery expenses.
